All appointments are 50 minutes.

Individual appointments for initial assessment or therapy are £90-£120 for self funding families. Appointments funded by local authorities and insurers may differ so please contact us for further information.

Self-funding families

We aim to offer a prompt, effective service with sessions arranged in regular consistent blocks. We recommend weekly or bimonthly appointments, but are happy to discuss your needs and requirements, just get in touch.

Assessment and Treatment

Our initial assessment appointments give you an opportunity to discuss your concerns and for us to share our first thoughts on your difficulties. Together we plan a way forward that suits you.

The initial assessment costs £120 and the appointment usually takes 50 minutes. Some people may at this stage be happy to take some advice and these initial impressions and come back to us if and when they need to. Others may opt for a fuller assessment (e.g. developmental/educational/neurological/play) to consider the presenting issues in more depth.

Costs for full assessments and reports are dependent upon your requirements and are agreed with you prior to undertaking any work.

You may at this stage want to agree a course of therapy. As a guide, this can range from 5 to approximately ten appointments or more depending upon the nature of the concerns. The costs for this are usually £120 per session (if self funding). Prices for Local Authority work and work through insurers may differ. Please contact us for further information. We aim to work efficiently and effectively and focus upon the best outcome in the mostly timely manner.

Cura also offers sign-posting to mainstream services, relevant psycho-educational training/consultation, websites and consultation to parents and teachers as ‘one offs’ or on an occasional basis.

Therefore we aim to offer some level of care whatever your budget.

Training / Consultation

If you are interested in Cura’s training services then please get in touch to discuss your requirements. As a guide training is normally charged at around £500-£600 per day depending upon the number of participants and trainers required. This includes full hand-outs and training materials.
