Autism Assessments for Adults

Private Autism Diagnosis

Many adults live with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) without a formal diagnosis. If you’ve ever wondered whether your experiences could be linked to autism, you’re not alone. An autism assessment for adults can help bring clarity, open doors to support, and deepen self-understanding.

Why Consider an Adult Autism Assessment?

Autism in adults often presents differently than it does in children. Many people develop coping strategies that mask challenges, which can make autism harder to recognise. You might consider an adult autism screening if you’ve noticed:

  • Difficulty with social interactions or relationships
  • Feeling different or misunderstood in social settings
  • Intense focus on specific interests or hobbies
  • Sensory sensitivities (to sound, light, touch, etc.)
  • Struggles with change or unexpected events
  • A long history of feeling “out of sync”
